Vernon Referees’ Association - Vernon Soccer Association

There are two ways to start refereeing. If you will be 12 years old by April 1st you can take the Mini Soccer Referee Clinic (details below). When completed you will be able to referee U9 & U10 Mini Soccer games and line 11-aside games.

If you will be 14 or older on the date of the course you can take an Entry Level Clinic. There will be one clinic in Vernon this year (details below) and there are others in the area (Kelowna, Penticton, Kamloops, Salmon Arm). Check www.bcsoccer.net for details and to register.

All Vernon referee clinics are completed for 2010.

Dates for the 2011 clinics will be posted here by mid January.

MINI SOCCER REFEREE CLINIC

ENTRY LEVEL CLINIC

When: March 26 6:00 - 10:00, March 27 March 27 9:00 - 4:00, March 28 9:00- 2:00

Cost: $100

To Register: All registrations and payments are done directly with BC Soccer

ANNUAL REFRESHER

All Youth and higher officials MUST take a refresher and register annually. This does not apply to Mini Soccer Referees.

The Vernon clinic will be on March 28 at 3:00 pm. Check www.bcsoccer.net for details and to register. You must register in advance and it can only be done directly with BC Soccer. Be prepared for a fitness test at the Refresher.
