NOSL rules and regs

As per the league rules in order for officials to be paid the following must be done for all NOSL games.

Referees must arrive in time for a proper pre-game. ID cards are to be checked and reconciled with the game sheet. Any player that does not have a proper ID card cannot play in that game. If a team does not have their ID cards for whatever reason this is to be noted in the comments area of the game sheet and the team will be fined as per leaguerules.

Games sheets for games at Marshall are to be submitted to the office or placed in the “Green box” behind the Indoor building facing the airport within 24 hours of the completion of the game.

For games in Salmon Arm and Revelstoke the game sheets are to be scanned and emailed to w.aasen@telus.net or faxed to 250-545-4868.

Discipline sheets for any game are to accompany the game sheets. This includes all yellow and red cards. These forms can be accessed at http://www.vernonsoccer.ca/vra/index.php and are in a PDF format.

There is a referee evaluation form on the NOSL page for teams to provide input with egards to officials. Teams are to use the comments area on the game sheet to provide any info related to the game.

NOSL Mission Statement

To allow men’s teams made up of players 16 and older to play competitive games in Vernon and create new opportunities for individual players to get involved in soccer. The league will create opportunities for young players to participate after outgrowing North Okanagan Youth Soccer and become a feeder system for the Men’s 35+ & 45+ leagues currently operating in Vernon. The NOSL, its executive and players are committed tooperating a league that will promote sportsmanship and fair play.
