The Vernon Soccer community is steeped in history and tradition, with its’ roots traced to immigrant Europeans who formed Vernon’s first soccer team in 1952. Spanning over fifty years, the sport of soccer is embedded firmly in our community history.

Soccer in Vernon has evolved into a massive network of programs accommodating all ages and abilities.
Boys and girls ages 4 through 18 are under the soccer program direction of the North Okanagan Youth Soccer Association (NOYSA).
The North Okanagan Women’s Soccer Association (NOWSA) operates three separate leagues’ as Div. 1, Div. 2 and Masters (over age 30) women. The North Okanagan Soccer League (NOSL) accommodates the competitive (open age group) mens teams, while Vernon fields teams in Okanagan Valley-wide men’s over 35 and over 45 leagues.
